Patch Notes: November 11, 2024
Welcome to our smaller early November patch!
It’s going to be an exciting month for Galaxy. Later this month, we will plan to be launching our in-game store. Stay tuned for that announcement and a major milestone towards the official launch of our favorite game.
For now, we have a handful of card balance changes, some bug fixes and more. Let’s get into it.
Bigger changes:
- You are now rewarded a Diamond captain frame for completing that captain's collection of cards.
- We've done some work to reduce the odds of hitting "empty shop crashes". This is an ongoing process- if you hit an "empty shop" or other major visual issue in this patch, please report it, with a "Copy Logs" if possible.
Bug fixes and tweaks:
- Fixed MMR bugs, MMR should no longer "go up forever". Any MMRs above 3000 have reset to 3000. (you can resume climbing from there normally)
- You will now return to captains in collection after editing a deck in collection
- Show player names during battle scene
- Prevent Pied Piper, Wormtongue and Seeker from tagging animals/villains/heroes in shop
- Fix dynamic text number on golden Weird Beard
- Loki's Scepter now works with slot buffs
- Daedalus golden now triples slot buffs
- Pinata now works with summons
- Smug will no longer downgrade secret rare treasures
Card Balance Changes
- Achilles - Now gives +4/+2 on hunt (and +2/+1 on Farewell)
- Faerie Queen’s Wand - +7/+7 (down from +10/+10)
- Sir Francis Drake - Now only goes up to legendary (and stops after you get your legendary).
- Excalibur- Now gives +20/+20 to your Heroes for each Hero you have in your crew.
- The KO Star - Now give +20/+20 to your Villains for each Villain you have in your crew.
- The Burninator - New text: When you find a treasure, you get to keep all 3 of them.
- Pirate Prince - Now grants Treasure Hoard 1 each turn (down from 2)
The following cards have been moved from Legendary to Epic:
- Smug
- The Grey One
- Snapping Hydra
- Sir Francis Drake
The following cards have been removed:
- Tiamat’s Offspring
- BOGO Coupon
